Academic CentreInternational affairs bring a multinational spirit to the activities of the Students' Council of the University of Latvia through the UL International Students' Collegium initative, as well as by assisting foreign students and involving them in different events and projects. Also, international affairs provide opportunities for local students to go on exchange visits and trips to universities in other countries encouraging them to afterward apply and integrate the learned practices into the processes of the University of Latvia.
Some other projects include implementing sign translations across UL facilities, organising various events for international students, including the annual International Game Night on 17th of November, as well as adapting many other existing events for participation of foreign students.
